The Harrold Jazz Band concert and piano recital is scheduled for Monday, December 14th beginning at 7:00p.m. Kindergarten will sing and 1st -4th grade will play the piano. Members of the JH and HS Jazz Bands will perform several Christmas and Jazz selections. The elementary piano performances are under the direction of our Piano teacher, Mrs. Rhonda Ramsey. The Harrold Jazz Band is under the direction of Mr. Bob Donahue. Cookies and punch will be served after the concert. Santa will be here to pass out candy canes and to listen to the kids Christmas wishes.
Kindergarten, first, and second grade students will have special events during the week. On Wednesday, December 16 a story teller will come to read the Christmas story to the classes. Mrs. Wiggins, parent of kindergarten student Joseph will sign the story as our story teller reads. This will begin 8:15 AM Harrold School Library. Christmas parties for all classes are scheduled for Dec 17th beginning at 12pm. Contact your child’s teacher for more details.
Semester tests are scheduled for next week. Your child has been given a detailed schedule of their class tests. Report cards will not be sent out until January. Classes will dismiss on Tue, Wed, and Thurs, at 1pm. Classes will resume on January 4th for the TAKS students and on Jan, 11th for all other students.
The JH Hornets will host the Chillicothe Eagles on Thursday, Dec 17th at 5:30p.m. The JH Hornets next games will be Jan 7th at Benjamin. The next Varsity game is scheduled for January 12th at Harrold. There are no other games scheduled during the Christmas break.
